Active Transport

Active transport is the transport of molecules

through a cell with the use of energy. this occurs in both plant and animal cells.

 Signals in the cell tell the membrane channels

when to start and stop the process.

Rhyme!!!

There's a little molecule

moving through and around the cell

using energy as it goes

where it is there's no way to tell

well lean in close.. here's the thing

there are signals that tell the process to go

they also tell when the process halts

or something nothing else knows

but all this is done using energy

energy, oh  energy is used

like when you sneeze, or cough, or smile

or when you even say bless you!
