Cytoplasm- the substance in a cell where most of the cells constant work is kept. Lysosomes- The organelles which break down food molecules and then reuse them. Golgi bodies- the snake like substances that package ribosomes. Nucleus-the ball at the bottom right of the screen. it is the "control center' of the cell. Nucleolus-the brownish, dark purplish ball in the center of the cell. Mitochondria- the yellow and purple organelles that are the "powerhouses" of the cell, which make energy. Cell membrane- the layer of the cell directly in front of the cell wall which allows or disallows entry or departure. Ribosomes- the tiny dots in the cytoplasm mostly around the ER - that manufacture proteins. Endoplasmic reticulum- the maze like material around the nucleus. it acts as passage ways. Vacuole- the big purple substance that stores water and food for the cell.
