Chloroplasts

chloroplasts are the green
peanut shaped substances in the plant cell. they give the plant its
green color. The chlorophyll inside the chloroplasts is the pigment that
gives the green. photosynthesis occurs here, which means they trap light
energy and use it to make food. Chloroplasts are only found in
plant cells, and some algae.
